The Sedona Marathon - February
The Sedona Marathon has enlivened and thrilled the city bringing in hundreds of runners and enthusiasts from all over the country. A full marathon, half marathon, and a 5k opens participation up for everyone. Running in Red Rock country has got to be life-altering and for this high-energy, world-class marathon, Sedona is the perfect venue.
Sedona International, Film Festival - February/March
For five days generally the first weekend in March, Sedona is transformed into a haven for independent and documentary film buffs. It gets bigger and better every year with over 125 films, including foreign films, shorts, animation and student films. Celebrities come to present their films and conduct workshops on filmmaking. No doubt Sedona in the very near future will become one of the film festivals that launches great films and new careers.
St Patrick's Day, Parade and Festival - March
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the parade will make its way from the Sedona Heritage Museum, down Jordan Road to Sacajawea Plaza, Uptown. Festival follows the parade. Visit the St. Patrick's Day Parade websites for exact parade date and schedule of events.
Red Rocks Music Festival - August
Featuring world-class chamber and flamenco music, orchestral performances, master classes and workshops throughout the week. The Red Rocks Music Festival educates, engages, and challenges audiences through a unique collaboration of leading Arizona artists and world acclaimed musicians.
Sedona Arts Festival - October

Festival of Lights - Early December
The beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village is set aglow with the lighting of 6000 luminarias by hundreds of participants. Filling all the courtyards, walkways and parapets with golden light, this is truly one of the most memorable among all Sedona events. Fantastic choral ensembles, carolers, musicians, and dancers bring to life the wonders of the holiday season.
